Hailing literally from the Back o' Bourke, Chris began his broadcasting career as an enthusiastic teenager on Outback Radio 2WEB and has now worked in the commercial media for more than 12 years.
As a radio announcer and journalist, Chris presented a variety of programs on stations throughout Queensland and New South Wales for Rural Press and DMG radio.
Working in regional centres such as Emerald, Gladstone, Charters Towers, Mackay, Orange and Griffith Chris has covered everything from music festivals and weekend sport to cyclones and election campaigns.
Chris made the move into television after completing an internship with American network NBC during the Sydney 2000 Olympics. After two years at Fox Sports, he joined Sky News in 2004 as a sports reporter and now also presents weekend news.
Chris has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Charles Sturt University, Bathurst.
